FAQ

For depositors

Does ARKONIX hold my funds? No. ARKONIX is non-custodial: you deposit into vault smart contracts directly from your own wallet, and your position is represented by share tokens you hold. ARKONIX operational keys cannot withdraw or transfer your assets. See Custody & Key Management.

Why isn't my deposit instant? Most ARKONIX vaults settle asynchronously in epochs (ERC-7540): you submit a deposit request, the operator settles the epoch at the vault's NAV, and you then claim your shares. Some vaults support instant (synchronous) deposits with asynchronous withdrawals. See Deposits & Withdrawals.

Can I cancel a pending request? Yes — pending deposit requests (on fully asynchronous vaults) and pending redeem requests can be cancelled; the cancellation itself settles at the next epoch, after which you claim your assets or shares back.

What do the return figures mean? 7-day, 30-day, and 90-day returns are cumulative over that window — they are not annualized and are not an APY. The all-time figure is annualized once a vault has at least 30 days of history. A dash (—) means the vault doesn't have enough history for that window yet, which is not the same as 0%. See Returns & Fees.

Are returns shown before or after fees? After. All published returns are net of management and performance fees.

Are there Shariah-compliant vaults? Yes — selected vaults are structured for Shariah compliance (Wakalah structure, halal liquidity venues) and are flagged in the Earn app, with certification documents available on the marketing site.

For partners

What's the fastest way to integrate? The Vault SDK. From a vault address alone it provides metadata, user positions, the full deposit/redeem transaction lifecycle, and financial data (NAV, returns, holdings, fees). React and React Native are first-class; a standalone core works in any JS environment.

Do I need API keys to read vault data? No. The public API and the SDK's financial-data layer are unauthenticated and read-only. Programmatic trading access uses a separate authenticated partner API.

Can I use my existing wallet stack? Yes. The SDK accepts a small WalletAdapter interface that bridges to wagmi, Privy, WalletConnect, RainbowKit, or any custom signer. See Wallet Integration.

What does the SDK license allow? BUSL-1.1: free for evaluation, testing, and development; production use requires a commercial license. See License & Support.

For engineers & due diligence

Which chains are supported? Ethereum Mainnet, Arbitrum One (primary execution network), Base, BNB Smart Chain, and HyperEVM, with more in rollout. Query GET /discovery/chains for the live list.

Who produces the strategy signals? SignalForge, a signal- and index-generation service owned and operated by Arkonix Capital Management — a separate entity from the platform operator.

Has the platform been audited? Yes — an independent security program with Halborn covering both external (black-box) testing of the APIs and web applications and source-level (white-box) review. See Audits.

How are operational keys managed? Signing keys live in cloud HSMs (FIPS 140-2 Level 3) and are never exportable; services hold sign-only permissions. Governance-level changes can be gated behind multi-signature contracts. See Custody & Key Management.
